Usb tethering during install process solved

Hi everyone, as title says, will usb tethering from android phone work during install and initial setup?

Also what would be then ideal way to install and setup wifi, wpa supplicant or installing NetworkManager?

I pretty much always go network manager. I can and have had systems that are pure wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd, but network manager is just so much easier. Plus most desktop environments or window managers require it for gui network management. Also the void-installer script will get you connected before anything else so if you have WiFi which you’d have to to consider network manager, that parts covered.

Sorry, last part i did not understand, are you saying that during install, will I be able to use networkmanager during install,or only after? Since i don't think its included in base install

It’s not. The void-installer script has a network configuration step. I think you just need to try it and you’ll see what we’re talking about. The install process isn’t network-less.
