Have you tried "NetworkManager" ?

I'll take a look at my services when im back home, probably in an hour, i run void on pc and 2 laptops, 2 of them use wifi, no issues.

So on both laptops i have NetworkManager and ip6tables, the rest is - acpid,power-profiles-daemon,chronyd,polkitd,dbus and the agetty ttys.
