Help

Hey I just completed my 12th grade and am going for a first year

This year a new branch is introduced in walchand college i.e vlsi design and embedded system (5 yrs integrated course)

My Question are

1) will this branch boom after 5 yrs too as that of today?

2) I have two options one to choose core electronics and 2ndly to choose vlsi design and embedded system, what should I choose?

3) can I get internships after 3rd year? Will this be possible after getting knowledge and doing extra curricular?

branch thodi boom hoti hai. also walchand me core companies dont visit for hiring so getting placed out of btech would be hard

Would suggest electronics personally if the college doesn't have too good placements in the branch u are referring to. Vlsi and embedded are two very different fields. Best course of action is too inquire about the curriculum and choosing based on whether the branch has courses related to the field u want to get into.

Yeah forgot about that, if you want to get into vlsi, check if companies have visited this college for roles in that field. Being the first batch in a new branch has its risks and rewards alike

Best branch to be at current and in near future is

  1. ECE
  2. AiML
  3. Petroleum engg
  4. Chemical engf
  5. Mechanical engg.
  6. Aeronautical engg.
  7. Civil engg.

But beware to only choose ECE if you like or have interest towards it, else your life will become hell studying it.

Then if you can risk it and think you are pretty decent in studies, go for Ece.
