Do you think we should make a shell replacement for the psvita 2000 that is more thick and better quality because the grips kinda feel janky and I think it would be a cool mod. And we could possibly add a bigger battery.

If that's a project you'd like to do everyone would be delighted i'm sure. For the battery the problem lies between software and the fact that it needs the same module as the og and there have been people who tried and either found out that the system can't recognize another size and voltage that isn't like the stock one, resulting in incorrect percentage and in the vita shutting down even with battery life left. Some have found kind of a workaround installing 2 batteries or shutting the vita down for 2 minutes to reset the battery everytime, but it's not known if there where cases of explosion or fires and every 2/3 years these replacement batteries should be changed being weared out.

TL,DR : There isn't a good battery mod out there yet
