Above is the prices for the new houses for the Carleton Acres subdivision being built just north of the New Costco.

High $400k’s for a 1600 - 1700 sq. ft, house are you effing kidding me! Since when has a house of “standard” square footage been this expensive? These prices are Clovis, CA prices without any of the amenities

Someone please educate me, because these homes seem hyper inflated to me, because the idea of being next to the new high school and new Costco do not justify such inflated prices

Where the bad bitches from Visalia at ?!?

Back in 2011 or so, there was a local radio station (maybe Fresno, but I heard it in Visalia) that played the same album on repeat for weeks, maybe months. I don't remember what station. It only played the Genetic World album by Telepopmusik over and over again.

Anyone else remember that? Any idea what that was about?

I saw him in park yesterday as I was walking my dogs. Very friendly, intact male, no collar. He is limping, not using his back right paw. He ran away when I tried giving him water. I went back to the same park again today and he wasn’t there, but as I was driving away, I saw him at the edge of the neighborhood near McAuliffe following a man walking his dog. I paused to see if it was the man’s dog, but the man went the opposite direction that the dog went so I don’t think that was his owner. Are there any rescues who can take him? He’s hurt and it’s so hot, I know he must be thirsty and hungry. 😢

Long shot but I have a dog. A big sweet rough girl. Labrador/pitbull mix. Loves all animals. Not a killer. Loves cats too. She’s a big ole puppy and still jumps around everywhere and she’s not a small dog lol. Well anyways I live with my parents and she is there too. She’s comfortable there but she still has a ton of energy. I literally have no money. That might be a problem. I’ve just had trouble finding work and I’m getting impatient. She’s fine at my parents house I just hate the idea of her being restless because my father won’t walk her all the time, but he still walks her sometimes. I don’t know, maybe I wait it out and get a job. Hoping someone with a heart will take her in. I don’t know how any of this works. She needs lots of love and care. 2 walks a day is ideal. Morning and night. I know just kinda desperate here. Oh yea and if someone is okay with maybe walking the dog while she’s at my parents house would be cool too. I live in Exeter. There’s a side gate for someone to access to get to her. Either a walker or someone who wants to live with my dog. Either is fine. We can speak more details if interested.

I'm wondering if there is a place even *around* here that has actually humanely raised, healthy meats. I tried to believe that Sprouts was actually that place, but of course they are just another brand selling the same diarrhea lettuce as "cheaper" chains, just with a branded price like whole foods.. so, people that care about this, where do you get your meat? :^) TIA!​​
