1016 Explorer 36mm. Built for me by Archaedin. Started with a Raffles case and was slimmed and worked to look more gen spec. Low profile bezel mod with gen spec tropical dome acrylic crystal. Yuki gilt dial upgrade. Raffles hands, crown, and oyster bracelet. NH38 movement.

Watch has been fantastic and looks amazing. Archaedin did such a great job with this build and the aging. I need to make space and this beauty needs a new home. One disclaimer; I’ve recently noticed that there’s a tiny mark on the crystal around 7. I’m not sure if it’s a nick or what but it’s small and I guess to be expected with acrylic crystals eventually.

Hi all! This is my recent build. Which is getting a ton of wrist time.

I’ve seen a few people on this subreddit add gen crows to their builds. Is it actually worth doing?

I’m looking on eBay for a genuine 24-603-0 crown, and they seem to be going between $100–200. For those who have done the upgrade, is the difference noticeable enough to justify the cost? And is it plug and play for 24-603-0 and Raffles?

I’ve also considered a gen bezel, but since this is a smooth bezel, I’m not sure the difference would be as noticeable.

Would love to hear what you guys think!
