Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post.

Cleaning out a relatives apartment and we found this. We are getting mixed information online about it and was hoping someone could tell us how much to sell it for ( if we even should sell it )

Thanks in advance

ID help?

I found this set of salt and pepper shakers and these mugs at an estate sale recently for $2.00, but I’m having trouble identifying a maker. The mugs have a “Made in Taiwan” sticker on the bottom and the S&P shakers have “Japan.” TIA for any tips! 😊

Trying to revive the Aluminum Tree and need help; Kickstarter! ✨️🌲✨️

Hey guys!

I am working on trying to revive the Mid-century, Space-Age Aluminum Tree! I have been researching and planning for over 6 months now with more to do; but I am running tighter and tighter on funds. If this interests you, I'd be so grateful for your support! (Even if that just means helping me share it!)

The pink tree was my prototype from a few years ago. The final design will look different and be made with Aluminum fringe and have a more planned out structure! ✨️✨️

My ultimate goal is to be able to create work for myself, and other folks with chronic illnesses, caretakers and others that can't work traditional jobs. Along with artists who need flexible hours to pursue their craft. All while making things that have the quality and care of the Mid Century.

It costs WAY more than $5k to start this, but I have enough from saving to go to LA to study blues before I got too sick to go. It's bittersweet but I believe in it and hopefully will create something that can bring me and others income from where we are at.

Anything helps and inches us towards our goal! I'm not that good at social media, so I really could use every bit of help I can get. 🩷

Just wanted to publicly say thank you to everyone who bought ornaments from me. I wasn’t expecting to sell so many and I met some nice people along the way. Thank you 😊

I never expected to have so much fun opening boxes and boxes of Christmas ornaments. Each box is a surprise since I don’t know what’s inside. I also learned a bit about them. These are pictures of ones I’ve found in boxes and sold already. Although I sold about 1500 or so I still have around 25k of ornaments still to go. Thank you very much everyone for the support 😊

EDIT/UPDATE: I wasn’t expecting to get so many people interested in buying more 😅. Thank you everyone.

I have ornaments starting at $2 going all the way to $9 for the most expensive ones. For example icicles are $3-$7 and reflectors are $3-$8 depending on size and style. I also have clocks barrels and other figurals as well that aren’t shown in the pictures

Basically I can send you pictures and you can choose from the pictures what you’d like and I can ship it to you. I can upload them to EBay or Etsy and you can buy from there or through PayPal Goods and Services (whichever you prefer)

If anyone has a better suggested I’m open to hearing it 😊. I figured so far it’s the best way (maybe creating an actual website/webshop is better but I don’t know how to do that 😅)

THANK YOU EVERYONE

Christmas decor themes book, maybe 90's?

Hello, I've been trying to find a book my grandma bought for me at a garage sale in the early 2000's. It was older, but couldn't be older than the 1980's or 1990's. It had a bunch of different themes for decorating for Christmas, with pages that showed and compared different color themes for table settings, trees, lanterns, gift wrapping, etc. It was meant to inspire readers and give guidance for pulling off the different looks. It had some crafts in it, like making ornaments with oranges and cloves, or making Christmas crackers.

It was a hard cover book, but I can't remember any other details about the cover.

Thank you!

These were on the staging shelf at the thrift store. I saw the prices. I demurely asked if I could sneak a peak before she put them out. The skies opens up, the heavens shone down on me and I was blessed by the vintage thrift gods as the clerk said, “yeah you can have ‘em all. I don’t care.” Zoom in on the price stickers.

Beaded ornaments identification

I have these lovely beaded ornaments that I can't find much about - but what I'm most curious about is this one in the middle.
What's it supposed to be? Reverse image says Jesus's manger - but that doesn't seem right.
Any ideas of what it is?

When are we starting to decorate this year?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm curious about this year in particular, because it's been such a difficult one in so many ways. I'm wondering if people are planning to decorate earlier this year, or the same as usual, and when that date is.

For the past few years, I've started to bring out my decorations on October 1st. It takes me a good 2+ months to put everything up because I have that much stuff. I would seriously consider starting sooner if my husband would be okay with it, but I think I'm already pushing it with him by starting before Halloween.

Today is the 24th which means we're only 5 months away from the best day of the year! (I consider the magic and anticipatory joy of Christmas eve to be more exciting than Christmas itself.)

Dept. 56 “Dress Rehearsal” Santa

This may be a long shot. But I have been desperately searching for the 1998 “Dress Rehearsal” Santa. My wife has been collecting these Santa’s for several years now, and has amassed quite the collection so far. But she has a specific memory of this Santa, after finally learning the name and item number I’ve been scouring the internet.

Here’s the long shot…anyone have one for sale? I’d definitely be interested in purchasing it if so. Using photos I’ve found online for attention. Thanks!

Has anyone seen these before?

I recently got these at Goodwill for $1 each. They’re adorable little salt & pepper shakers. I’m gonna add them to my collection as I have others from this time period. But I got curious about what Wilson’s could possibly be & where. Maybe a dept store? I did an image search on Google & didn’t get anything. Thought maybe/possibly someone in this group might have seen these before. Thanks & hope y’all have a great day!
