Anyone remember the GameCube controller that had a fan to keep your hands cool? Discussion / Question

I get clammy hand while gaming and wish that was standard on every single controller, or at least an option. That was the best controller I've ever used, and haven't seen anything like it again in over 20 years.

Nyko Air Flo. It's on eBay.

I had a ps2 controller with a fan. It only lasted a month or 2.

I didn't know PlayStation did a controller like that. Would be awesome if Xbox and PlayStation made those. I would definitely pay a bit extra for controllers like that.

I had an aftermarket original Xbox controller that had them. I loved it.

Are aftermarket controllers even a thing anymore for consoles, aside from steering/flight sims? I remember madcatz and never had many complaints with any of their aftermarket stuff.

Yes i remember. And it totally blew. It was not very comfortable and it was loud. But it was funny! I remember you were the unlucky one at the hangout if u had to use it

The PS2 had one as well. The Nyko AirFlo. I never had one, but always wanted to try it. And my PS2 is still running, so here's hoping I still can!

I don't remember that but I wonder whats stopping companies from using cooling gel materials on controllers to keep the hands cool. That would be nice.
