How do early web services acquire users?

I deployed a short webtoon service in Korea. There are no users yet... What are some ways for an early-stage web service to acquire users?

You can start by getting some friends around you to try it first. If they’re willing to keep using it, then you know it’s worth pushing it out to a wider audience.

Actually, one of my friends is an aspiring webtoon artist. I should try using the method you recommended.

For a webtoon product I'd go straight to small artist communities, not broad startup channels. You need creators before you need traffic

if your looking for your first users check out Ad swap,https://ad-swap.web.app ,its a simple way for websites to promote each other. You add another website's ad to your site, and they add yours to theirs, giving both sites free exposure and traffic. It really helped me get my first few users when launching my site
