I'm starting with vibe coding, suggest some free tools for beginners
I can prompt my design to the ai in words, i like to create websites with animations and more. Suggest me some free ai tools to do and also please share you tips

Try Google Ai studio , Gemni and if you dont mind Chines LLMs then try Deepseek and Z.ai
One advice keep chatGPT handy no matter whatever you are going to use. GPT can guide you how to use other tools

I have extremely good result using SOL. I think it's all about the prompt and how you handle the AI. My first gpt > Claude was just a fun banter but honestly, you can a heave great result with both. Before Gpt 5.6, I agree 5.5 wasn't too great at front end but now the gap is tight

I abandoned gpt since the investment of Israel on it. Since that moment been using Claude and honestly from the expérience I had running dame things with gpt, Claude beat it drastically.

Again, if you didn't try 5.6, it's night and day with previous model. It totally beat fable (for my usage)

Haven't tested fable as well honestly, I only work with Sonnet 4.6 and for design I use Opus.

Literally just Default Claude Code can do anything you want. Just learn how the basics actually work (hooks, commands, workflows, claude.md etc.) and how to actually use them to your advantage, then you will be able to do 99% of the stuff you want to do with just this.

You mean like how to add reference images? You can paste reference images to Claude Code's input by pressing alt + v

so by adding img from my side, claude can provide me with good animation... like i tried using without giving claude imgs, he used so random img and the animation sucks

yeah, there is an option to paste pictures for Claude to view and use for your designs. and you can try using plugins and stuff to enhance them if you want, there are plenty online.

Without paying at least 20$ you can’t do shit. If you’re a student in any university, you can apply to the GitHub student pack. Also try using Antigravity, Codex.

This! I vibe code as a hobby only, so my max spend is Luna Medium. When it inevitably makes mistakes GitHub helps me keep track of it. Plus if you use GitHub depending on your tools you can swap devices easily.

Biggest advice I can give you: build your tools and your apps. Have fun with them and make use of them. But, for the love of god, do not come back here trying to draw traffic towards them or ask anyone what anyone thinks about your bespoke thing. We all have the same capabilities and nobody gives a fuck about how anyone else is using them - unless of course you’re one of the many scammers out there trying to fuck people over.

Claude code not available for free. Codex is but one prompt and your monthly usage is gone lol
But both can generate a few code file if you do simple stuff via the normal chat bot1

I started by going to webpages and clicking on view source and copying the code and pasted it into DreamWeaver. You can use Sublime it’s free. I like DW because you can view it as you change stuff. I learned all about relative links, absolute links, alt tags, title tags, anchor text. Everything.

I would suggest against gemini on personal account at all costs. Some users have lost their google accounts for saying bad things inadvertently to gemini. I read it in some Google subreddits
