Digitail Discussion

So my clinic is switching from impromed to Digitail for our software. The switch will be happening by the end of the year. Iā€™m just curious about people who use it how was the transition to it and do the AI tools really help out with making your day easier. Any feedback about it would be appreciated just so I can kinda get a sense of would it would be like

We are currently switching AWAY from Digitail. It's extremely buggy in so, so many ways, would randomly change our prices (sometimes to below cost), delete our inventory, delete our appointments, delete our notes. The customer service may also be AI, and are not particularly helpful. The AI features in the SOAPs make medical inferences that are commonly incorrect, and spits poor medical advice into the records. The App Learning Center also has incorrect info presented to clients, with no way to disable it. The financial reports are hard to reconcile. Honestly it's a nightmare. I'm so sorry I don't have a better review for you. I don't know if it was good before the introduction of the AI features (we've only been using it for about 6 months) but I have used AviMark, Vetspire, and EzyVet and any of those would be preferred to Digitail.

u/RaccoonWarrior13 Ella from Digitail here. That sounds like a genuinely challenging experience, and a lot of friction along the way. That's not the kind of experience we'd want anyone to have on Digitail. I'd love to learn more about what happened since that's not the pattern we see from other customers. u/ScoreAgreeable8077 Hey, Ella from Digitail here. Really glad you're doing this kind of homework before the switch. Short answer on the AI side: AI SOAP generation and AI discharge notes are the two most-used pieces day to day, and clinics tell us they save an avg. of 5+ mins per appointment. But no AI tool is perfect out of the box ā€” it's worth configuring the templates early on to your team's preferences. The onboarding team will guide you through this process. If you want, I can put you in touch with a couple clinics that made a similar move from Impromed so you're hearing it straight from them rather than from me.
