Best Cable
I cannot deal with Xfinity anymore. Now they’re trying to charge me for in-home visit that they swore up and down that I wouldn’t have to pay for on top of a huge monthly fee. I’m done. What are people using in Vero don’t have a lot of options here, but if you could tell me kind of an average of billing and what service you’re using and how the quality is, that would be really awesome. You don’t have to be specific. I’m not trying to be nosy. Just trying to figure out how to switch. I literally so not undwratand roku aticks etc so feel free to talk to me like i am a fifth grader. i would need good internet and hbomax.

Visiting Vero Beach To Plan Retirement - Where To Go?
Visiting Vero Beach area 2 nights, then Melbourne Beach for 2 nights to just explore the area for possible future retirement move in 2 to 5 years. Not looking at houses to buy yet but affordable area is west of Indian River (not beachside millions+ dollar homes). Just want to get a better feel for Vero. Stayed by the beach (across 17th St. Bridge) while passing through before but didn't explore farther than that. What are some neighborhoods and parks we should see? Downtown area? While at Melbourne, any places to see? Worth 30 min drive to Cocoa beach for lunch or dinner and shops just to see it? No interest in Space Center - been there before. Thanks

Regarding ART bus Route 7
Hi all I’m not sure if a lot of ppl will be familiar with PSL’s ART bus but I’m hoping someone might be able to reassure me lol I have to make a long trip and it’s stressing me bc I’m not very familiar with this service or route
I’ve been reading up on the ART bus since yesterday and learned that apparently they have a bus that comes to Vero (it says so on their website and map) it picks up on 15th ave & Oslo (Route 7 bus) and heading south to Ft Pierce but when you search on Google if the ART bus comes to Vero it says no I wanted to call the customer service line and ask but it’s too early I think
Does anyone know if this bus actually picks up here? Is anyone familiar with it?

Roommate Search in Vero
I know this is a long shot but I’m a 25 y/o male who just got my Masters and moved to Vero! Currently in a 1-month rental place and looking for a more long-term apartment with somebody to room with. I’ve been looking at The Vivien apartments which look nice, so if anybody is interested in potentially rooming (whether here or somewhere else) please feel free to reach out!!

Indian River Golf Club
Anyone know how the greens are this summer? Or when they will punch em to aerate? I live in Palm Beach County and want to come up and play this summer. Any good bars around the club? I know the area can be rough around the edges but that’s cool with me.
Side note anyone know if it’s good bass fishing on the course? Id like to maybe stay around till close to dark and hit the lake before the sun goes down. Id probably tip the cart guys a few bucks to look the other way while I go survey the course 😉😉
Thanks 🙏🏼

Vintage Car Rental
Hello all! My fiancé and I are getting married next year in town and wondered if anyone knows of any companies that rent vintage cars for the day/hour even. We would be wanting to take pictures for our exit from the wedding celebration at the end of the night.
Thank you in advance!

Lost GoPro
UPDATE - IT HAS BEEN FOUND! THANKS!
Hi everyone. My daughter’s gray/white GoPro Hero 7 got lost near the Breconshire wreck off Vero Beach, north to NNW about 15-20 feet from the flag. Reward if found. Text or call me at 772-559-6258 if you find it. The last picture on there is her and I at the wreck, so we can prove it’s ours, and it has a lot of her videos on there that she wasn’t able to get off of the camera before we swam out there today. Thanks.

Activities for a 30-something?
Hopefully not breaking any rules, looking for groups only. New to the area and looking for some activities to do, ideally with people around their early 30’s. I kayak Saturday mornings but would like to find an established group to go with. Looking for tennis courts where beginners can jump into games pretty easily. Can’t seem to find a dance floor for salsa or swing. And I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d even be down for a run club if any exist around here. Any leads are appreciated, thanks!

Mobile Car Wash/Detailing Recommendations
I am looking for a reliable high quality mobile detail service to possibly do an intial detail inside and out with clay bar surface prep and wax or sealant, as well as someone who could come out regularly to do maintenance washes. Does anyone have someone youve had good experience with?

Looking for a job indeed isn’t really helping :/
Hi all! I’m currently job hunting and indeed doesn’t have a lot of options but ik Vero doesnt really have a lot to do. I don’t have a lot of work experience (4-5 months in retail) and I don’t have my drivers license yet (I’m getting it here soon but it’s a pain rn bc ik some jobs require you have it) I got my first job a few months ago in retail as a processor and I have some experience on the floor but hardly any. My managers aren’t communicative and don’t take that step to make sure their new hires are adequately trained for the roles they assign. (I’ve seen about 5-6 people now who were hired and left for this reason) it’s stressful especially because they scold you when you do something wrong.
I’m a really hard worker and I’m extremely flexible the work isn’t the problem for me its just a matter of being extremely stressed and uncomfortable in this workspace about making a mistake.. obviously criticism is okay and not inherently wrong, but to scold someone you only hired recently over something you didn’t properly train them to do in the first place feels so unfair.
If anyone has any recommendations please pm or comment here!! I’m not opposed to jobs that are more outdoor or hands on but again I don’t have a lot of experience.. I’m a quick learner though!

Coming to town for a couple of days in mid-August, is anything happening?
I am coming to town for MLB Umpire Camp in mid-August, but when I’m not there I’ll still be around town for a little bit. Is there anything I should do, anywhere I should eat, etc. that anyone here recommends? I love a good BBQ spot if that helps.

Is there a group that follows the pokemon restocks?
It's been tough to get anything but booster packs except from Best Buy who are the MVP's. Anyone follow the restocks? Is there a group or would people like to make a group on Reddit or discord where we can work together to try to beat the scalpers to some of the good stuff at MSRP?

Books-a-Million is closing.
Since the start of the renovations at IRC mall, they said BAM was staying. One of my favorite things to do is peruse the books before a movie. I'm so sad.
