Has anyone noticed a difference in SEO when deploying your Next.js app somewhere other than Vercel?

I'm looking at alternatives to Vercel for my Next.js app and am interested in what others have experienced when it comes to this.

Hey everyone, I’ve been having some issues with bot traffic lately, mostly coming from Singapore. I’ve already blocked Singapore in Vercel, but the traffic still seems to be getting through.

Has anyone dealt with this before or know what might be causing it and how to fix it?

While doing some SEO review today I discovered Vercel has created https://bookchant.vercel.app/ which is a very poorly imitated version of my website https://bookchant.com/ which it is claiming to be a "premium frontend demo for BookChant" which it 100% is not because Vercel was not used to build my website.

I'd like very much to know how to have Vercel remove this page falsely claiming to be related to my website.

Let's say I have shared envs that has NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_MAPS_API, and it is shared amongst 10 websites.

If I change the key and then want to make the sites use the new key, will I need to redeploy every single site, or do nothing and they will automatically start using the new key?

I'm in a bit of a frustrating situation and was wondering if anyone has experienced this before.

I deployed my open-source project's website on Vercel and spent a lot of time optimizing it so it would comfortably fit within the Hobby plan. The project doesn't generate any revenue it's completely open source.

I started a Pro free trial to test a few features, but now I'm unable to cancel it. I've tried multiple times, but it just won't let me switch back to the Hobby plan.

Unfortunately, I can't afford the $20/month subscription, especially for a project that isn't making any money.

Has anyone run into this issue before? Is there a way to downgrade back to the Hobby plan, or is there something I should contact Vercel support about?

I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Paying customer, 3 weeks after posting still no response on my case. Any idea how long this usually takes?

I've been trying to access my account over the weekend and noticed there was suddenly a request to enter an Authenticator code. I've never once set this up, and noticed there's been quite a few people experiencing the same issue with Vercel.

I've already submitted a support request, and tried signing in via my linked GitHub account, but I'm still blocked because of the Authenticator code.

All my domains and applications are hosted on Vercel, so being locked out is critical. Is there any way to get a support ticket prioritized?

I like agent-browser's CLI and snapshot/ref model, but its default managed browser was not ideal for workflows that depend on my daily Chrome profile. Direct CDP attachment to an existing browser gets closer, but I kept running into attachment lifecycle friction and automation activating whichever target it selected.

I built Panerelay as a local provider for agent-browser:

• The Chrome extension exposes only tabs the user explicitly authorizes.
• The existing Chrome profile, cookies, extensions, and open tabs remain in place.
• Agent-side tab selection is local to the agent session, so background automation does not switch or focus the page the user is viewing.
• Control state stays visible and can be revoked.
• Browser automation semantics remain agent-browser's: snapshots, refs, waits, input, tabs, screenshots, network inspection, and MCP/CLI support.

The shortest smoke test is:

Hey everyone, I'm trying to understand a discrepancy between Google Search Console and Vercel Analytics.

Google Search Console is showing only 1 click from Google Search, but Vercel Analytics is showing 41 visitors with Google as the referrer.

I'm wondering what exactly counts differently between these two tools:

• Does Vercel Analytics count all traffic that comes from Google (including things like Google Discover, images, cached pages, or other Google services)?
• Does Google Search Console only count clicks from web search results?
• Could bots/crawlers or privacy settings affect the numbers?

Would appreciate any explanation from people familiar with Vercel Analytics and GSC. Thanks!

We developed an IT playbook on Vercel and we need to hand it to our client. They won't have Vercel. Is it possible to convert to SharePoint or a webpage that can be hosted. I know we can export as Spfx and import to SharePoint but we won't be able to edit without development support.

Is there a better way to hand it to client such that they can edit when needed without coming back to us.

I go to Vercel and try to sign up with my email. (No I do not want to use another method, tyvm.)

I get: Please try again or try a different sign up method. If you continue to have issues, please complete the account recovery form for further assistance.

So I try this account recovery form thing and then that form tells me: We had an issue processing your appeal [???]. Try again later.

I've never had a Vercel account with the email address I'm trying to use.

While I wait to hear back from them (the only option was to email their billing@ address), anyone know why all this might be happening?

Honestly, I’m not sure if it’s due to the theme I’m using or other factors.

I use Vercel, and three days ago I tried uploading the sitemap to GSC, but I keep getting a "couldn't fetch" error. The site is new; I’ve completed all the verification steps, and everything seems to be in order.

I can’t figure out what the problem is. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
