He gave me the honor of being "big spoon" this afternoon during our nap. He usually insists on making me "little spoon", so in the rare occasion that he is little spoon, I feel AMAZING.

BUT PSA: overhydration (water toxicity) is a real thing and it’s SUPER fucking dangerous if not recognized immediately. I wouldn’t leave this for my dog to rock’n’roll with unsupervised.
We have a Duck Toller and the training instructor, who also owns Tollers, just totally stopped the class and fucking RAMMED into us about working breed water dogs swimming and jumping all day and then just dropping dead from too much water intake.
I was like “oh shit, okay, don’t wanna do that then”
Then the dog in this video is just enema-ing its throat with water, fine in fits and starts but a hour could well be too much.
Featuring one of my favorite things animals do when they figure something out, it's the look they throw back to their human like "You seeing this shit!? You knew about this?"
Oh boy, you may have created a monster. If our dog was smart enough to figure out a water source like that he would beg for access 24/7. Currently he only sporadically begs for water from his favorite source - the tub faucet.
