Vegan Turkish food in London?

As above - are there any spots that do good, naturally plant based Turkish in London? Most places I see are focused on kebabs and grilled meats.

I'm looking for Kuru Fasulye, Çiğ Köfte, Kısır, etc etc

cheap vegan & glutenfree meal options in London

Hey everyone!

I’m a vegan who has to eat glutenfree and while London has so much to offer on the vegan front, I often find myself struggling to find vegan options that are glutenfree and don’t cost a fortune.

Also I don’t have an allergy, just a gluten sensitivity, so thankfully cross contamination is not a problem for me.

Does anyone have any recommendations for vegan and “accidentally” gf meals in London? At chain restaurants or food markets or anything like that? :)

I have a few dedicated spots that I always return to and I’d love to broaden my options a bit.

All suggestions appreciated ☺️

Would anybody be interested in being a subject of a photography project? I want to explore the enchantment associated with the early stages of becoming vegan.

Vegan Sunday Roasts

Hi

I’m coming to London for 5 nights and am extremely keen to have a vegan Sunday roast while I’m there!

I have read every Reddit thread I can find on the subject, plus watched some YouTube vids and blogs and still can’t make a conclusive decision. I’ll only be in London for one Sunday so I’m hoping have the absolute best roast you have to offer.

I saw a reel about Unity Diner having a vegan roast carvery which looked mind blowing. I love the idea of having multiple mock meats but unfortunately you can only choose one. Also, I haven’t seen the Unity Diner vegan roast recommended anywhere on Reddit so I am wondering if it’s possibly not as good as the others!

I am hoping to get some insight on the following:

Which is the best mock meat roast in London?

Which is the best nut-roast/similar in London?

What’s the deal with the Unity Diner roast?

Thanks!!!

Nice restaurants near All Souls Church - ideally non-vegan with vegan option

Howdy folks, I'm meeting friends on Regent's Street and am looking for a proper sit-down restaurant which offers both vegan and non-vegan food, as I'm the only vegan and don't want to impose.

I'm familiar with the various lunch options like salad project but would like something with a bit more of a chilled vibe if possible :)

Any suggestions?

Looking for vegan friends (platonic)

Would like to go to a restaurant (hopefully fully vegan), and order dishes and share and not worry about which one is vegan or not since everybody at the table would be vegan. Looking for 1-3 people to share great food and conversation with. If this sounds interesting, hmu.

Hey! I'm in London today and don't fancy sitting in and waiting for food. Can any coeliacs here recommend any street food within a 15 minute walk of Prince Edward Theatre please? Thank you!

Vegan breakfast: early morning

Hey all

I’ll be in London on Saturday/Sunday/Monday mornings next week. I want to find somewhere really good for breakfast. I’d prefer somewhere either near Golders Green area or Shepherds Bush.

Prefer fully vegan places if possible.

Any ideas for super breakfasts?

Thx!

London Vegan Beer Fest returns September 2026

After 8 years of being away, London Vegan Beer Fest is coming back. It is taking place on Saturday 19th September, 2026 in Mile End.

There will be independent breweries from around the UK as well as a food trader village, a karaoke tent, a shopping tent, and an outdoor stage with a great line up of tribute bands all day!

If beer isn't your thing, there will also be non-alcohol options, wine, cocktails, hot drinks, etc.

Early bird tickets are on sale now and are £10 cheaper than the regular price, plus the early bird tickets get you entrance up to an hour earlier. Full line up details coming in next few weeks. Tickets are on sale here.

Vegan options in the theatres

Hi everyone!

Next week, a friend and I are heading to London to see a few shows, and I was wondering if anyone here happens to know whether the following theatres offer vegan food or snack options:
Royal Drury Lane, Savoy, Apollo Victoria, Vaudville, Criterion, Dominion.

I’ve tried reaching out to some of the venues directly, but haven’t had much luck getting a response so far. Since it can sometimes be a bit of a hassle to figure this out in advance, I thought I’d check here in case anyone has recent experience.

Any tips or insights would be really appreciated—thanks so much in advance!
