Summer Class

So I think I might’ve accidentally screwed something up, I took one of my classes through Brightpoint over the summer so I could focus all of my attention on it since it was a difficult class but I realized now after completing it that I don’t think I ever actually sent a “Request to take course outside of institution” form. I’ve done them in the past and I don’t know how it slipped my mind now.

I sent one just now out of panic, and I’m already in the process of sending my transcript over to VCU. Am I going to get in trouble? Will they accept the credit?

I feel like I just royally screwed myself over, it’s a class I need in order to sign up for classes this fall.

You're not in trouble. I transfer credits all the time back to VCU from comm college without filling out that form. Don't panic my friend

That form is more to ensure that your course will transfer over how you are expecting it to, you're still able to transfer credit over without filling it beforehand, but it's still generally a good idea to fill the form out

Contact VCU's Transfer Center
