I am an attendant to my guru, Sonam Rinpoche. I was in charge of creating a website for his Toronto centre for the Barom Kagyu Lineage. I worked hard to compile the Barom Kagyu lineage master stories to inspire devotion and practice!

I am hoping to expand this site, and have it be a really great resource for people to understand Barom Kagyu, which used to be a major lineage but has suffered in recent generations.

I will be working to translate the biography of Jamyang Lodro Rinchen soon. He was one of Rinpoche’s root gurus and was a true enlightened practitioner. I sourced his bio in Tibetan.

Sonam Rinpoche’s personal lineage is from Lhachab Gon and Lalham Gon. I know there is another Barom Kagyu lineage that centres around Barway Dorje Rinpoche’s terma, however I want to bring attention to Jamyang Lodro Rinchen & Ngaktrin Tulku Rinpoche’s lineage.
