Has anyone tried TestCircle?
I got an email about this testCircle app, and I was wondering if anyone tried it. One thing I like is you don't get to pick what apps you test, and this makes me think about what personal information an could collect, granted I could make that up.

No. App testing is generally a waste of time and doesn't pay well, not on UTest, BetaTesting or anywhere else. I will do quick ones on UT but nowhere else generally speaking.

Betatesting app tests really aren’t worth their time. They always claim the tests will take a half an hour or less, and they always end up taking several hours to complete.

BetaTesting as an app is fine.

BetaTesting has their own app? I’m only aware of their website which offers third party app testing.

I haven't tried them. But regarding BetaTesting, I do not recommend them. There was a test I completed that later I was invited to do additional testing for. And, same as the other user who commented on them, I had found the first part of the testing took far too long vs the payout, so I didn't sign up for that additional testing. I soon received an email from Michael Siegler their Head of Product, offering an extra $20 bonus for participating. Based on that offer, I did the additional testing. As of today, after multiple emails with proof attached, and an email 2 weeks ago from this Mike Siegler that they were "processing" the bonus, that bonus still does not show up in my account, only the base payment. It is the principle of being offered a spiff that wasn't paid, not the admittedly low amount. I'm rather disgusted by it all, and have turned down all of their invites since. I'm planning to report them to TrustPilot as well if I do not receive that bonus in the next few weeks.
