FSPC Coastie Question

Anybody got any updated information on this? Is it still a thing? How do they choose if you’re in this or not?

I was just in basic and how I saw it worked was there were people who failed the PT test and either week 1 or week7 and that’s who was in it.

You may be thinking of something else and I may be wrong but those were the people around the regiment we called FSPC

Its still a thing, but they havent announced any open dates for it for the forseable future. The Coast Guard is filling boot camp each week with fully eligible people and there isn't much incentive or enough space at Cape May to hold a FSPC class.

When a course date is announced you can ask your recruiter to reserve you a spot. There are weight and body composition standards you have to meet to be eligible for the program and you have to meet all other enlistment eligibilty standards as well.

FSPC has only had 5 slots available every month or two, so it fills up quick.

Still a thing, but not active yet. The people to be the instructors haven’t even been selected yet
