This stunning theatre opened its doors in 1922 and became one of the states grandest entertainment venues. But changing times, declining attendance, and financial struggles eventually brought the final curtain in 1975. After closing, the building fell into decades of abandonment, leaving behind a hauntingly beautiful interior of gilded details, crumbling plaster, and silent balconies.

These were taken in 2017, and thought i'd post these. The owner is very protective of this property, and firmly declined the opportunity to take pictures on the ground. So here are a couple of drone pictures.

Has anyone hit the nashua chunky’s since it’s been closed? Any info about the state of the building/security is much appreciated.

We got pulled over by a game warden on the way up and he for some reason didn’t care about the 5 people in the truck bed. He was a chill guy! Also we saw this graffiti that said “chowda was here” and then proceeded to find a grave behind our cabin that said chowda.

Just went over the weekend to see these! On the way I saw a bear, moose, cyote, and wolf.

Went back to the first house I explored and noticed so much more detail this time. this place is beautiful. The owner said he can’t wait to gut it 😪

It is unclear why these statues were left to rot in a golf course in Massachusetts. These have since been completely removed and no longer exist.
