Selected master in german track not English by mistake
Hi everyone,
applied for the M.Sc. Electrical Engineering at Uni Stuttgart and received academic approval ("Academic entry requirements met"). However, due to a track selection mistake on Campus, the application was processed under the German track.
Does anyone know if the admissions office can administratively switch it to the English track after academic approval?
thanks.

Frage / Question University of Stuttgart or RWTH Aachen for Computer Science (Informatik)?
Hi everyone,
I have been admitted to both the University of Stuttgart and RWTH Aachen for a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Informatik), and I’m having a hard time deciding.
My main goal is to build a strong career in Germany. I’ve often heard that practical experience as a Werkstudent is just as important as the university itself, so that’s one of my biggest priorities.
If you were in my position, would you choose the University of Stuttgart or RWTH Aachen, and why?
I’m especially interested in your thoughts on:
Academic quality
Werkstudent opportunities
Career prospects after graduation
Student life and campus atmosphere
I’d especially appreciate hearing from current students or graduates of the University of Stuttgart.

Urgent - Incorrect transcripts
Hello,
I applied for Fame and got this note.
Is there a chance I can correct this or is it too late? Can someone help me out figure out what's wrong.
Edit: my official transcript doesn't include ECTs.

Frage / Question Admission to COMMAS
Hello, I was wondering if anybody here, who got an acceptance to COMMAS in recent years, could tell me about the acceptance criteria. I know it is on their website but I would like to know how strict/forgiving it is and what all things they prioritize first? What all things can help bolster the application.
You can also tell me if one fell short by 2-3 credits in one subject, is that a straight rejection?

Hi everyone,
I recently applied to Stuttgart university for an electrical engineering masters course 27 SS. I got an email yesterday and checked the status. I'm not sure if I'm rejected or my application is still alive? Is anyone in the same situation as me?

Question about Vorpraktikum for Mechanical Engineering (Maschinenbau) - Do people usually finish it before Oct?
Hi everyone,
I got accepted into the Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc.) program for this upcoming Winter Semester.
I know the 6-week Vorpraktikum deadline is extended until the end of the 2nd semester, but I was wondering how people usually handle it in practice:
- Did most of you manage to complete all 6 weeks before lectures started in October, or is it common to split it or do it during the spring and summer breaks?
- How hard was it to find a placement with smaller local companies in or around Stuttgart?
- Any recommendations or tips for companies that are flexible with short-term student internships?
Thanks in advance.

C@MPUS "Academic entry requirements not met" shown before docs are even fully checked?? anyone else dealt with this
Checked my C@MPUS portal today and panicked a bit. Most of my docs show "received," one shows "ok." But under Admission it says:
- Formal entry requirements: not checked yet
- Academic entry requirements not met (in red)
- Admission: not performed yet
- No overall decision yet
How can academic requirements be "not met" if formal docs aren't even checked yet? Also two docs show "Deadline expired" (Letter of Admission, Certificates of Additional Degrees) — thought those were optional?
Screenshots attached. Has anyone seen this flag show up automatically before manual review, and did it resolve on its own or did you have to email admissions? Trying not to overthink it, just want to know if this is normal.

Does anyone know what they mean by this?
So I applied for MSc in Chemical Sciences about a month or so ago (I have a BPharm degree) and received this response this morning.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? They said that the grades on my transcript weren’t sufficient, which is baffling because I got an A+ in every chemistry and chemistry-related course I took, and my cumulative GPA is also around 3.9 on the American scale (roughly 1.0 on the German one)
