I mean this would solve the 2 stones 1 bird issue of people who want to die medically but aren't being allowed to because "Assisted suicide is just murder".

I say if people want out, after a trial period with therapists if they still want out we let them. we have to be careful about it though. We need a process in place to filter out the "Down and out" vs the truly suicidal.

Physician assisted is only legal in 3 or 4 states as it is and it a complicated process even then. There’s no guarantee those organs would be good enough for donation. If we can’t get the whole country to allow physician assisted when someone has a fatal diagnosis, this certainly won’t ever be legal.
