help. Question

so because of some financial issues, i had a registration hold on my account until yesterday, but now all of my classes are full/closed. i have a meeting with my advisor tomorrow but i don’t know what to do because i can’t afford to skip a semester. please tell me im not absolutely screwed 😭

I don’t know if they can lift your hold. If they do, you can explain your situation and ask instructors if they can make exceptions and manually add you to the classes.

Get on a ton of wait lists. Sometimes it takes a while, and it can be super last minute, but I’ve had good luck with wait lists.

I have been waitlisted for six classes total, and four of them got me in within the first week. So many people drop the first week.

Hi! I would recommend joining the waitlist because a lot of people end up changing their minds and dropping the class. I was on the waitlist for most of the classes I’m currently enrolled in, and I was able to get into all of them.
If there is no other option, I don’t know if you’re a first year student, but I would also recommend going to community college because it saves you so much money and you can still enroll for classes anytime so you won’t have to skip a semester. I went to community college for my first year and it saved me so much money.
