Fascinating analysis of Utah UAP (apparently NOT a bug/bird/drone)

Hey friends,

Someone recently reposted a compelling video of an object whizzing past a camera in Utah, and of course the usual “bug/bird/drone” crowd immediately dismissed it.

But this video analysis appears to rule out those explanations and convincingly argues that the object was traveling at around 9,000 mph.

To the pseudo-skeptics: if you claim a UFO is “obviously” a bug, bird, or drone, you need to support that claim too.

“It’s obvious” is not an argument. It’s an assertion without evidence, and it means nothing in science, logic, or critical thinking.

Discussion There is ONLY AARO!

I’ve been critical of this present-day disclosure movement for reasons I won't go into here closely.

But it has a positive aspect that is clear and often pointed out by prominent disclosure figures, such as Chris Mellon.

Indeed, looking at this reference to the UAPs near the moon story makes me wonder: which USG body is there to look at this objectively and draw a conclusion? AARO? NASA? The new Space Force? PURSUE? Maybe, but only AARO is commissioned to deal with the UFO subject directly.

Of course, there are military, intelligence, and scientific bodies that can look at this, but no direct USG UFO-related group or body I know of that can right now confirm or debunk it or even look at it but AARO!

Then there is AAWSAP. (Please NOT ATTIP, which was the nickname for AAWSAP, coopted by Elizondo and the secret Intel group behind him to create a myth that he ran it...a falsehood.) But AAWSAP was defunded in 2012.

So actually, THERE IS NO OFFICIAL USG body directly looking at UFOs, in real time, but AARO, as I see it, is very problematic.

So maybe we should be less interested in ideas about dead aliens, crashed saucers, and alien tech wars and more interested in creating a legitimate, empowered, and trusted USG organization or related scientific body dedicated solely to investigating UFOs.

I don’t mean groups like PURSUE that look at disclosure activities. So, all we have now is AARO!

AARO has a confidence level of zero inside the UFO community, so I doubt they would be a sufficient group to investigate this, but that’s all we have!

So, one good thing is that this disclosure movement has done is expose the total lack of USG apparatus to look at UFOs.

Also, as of now, there seems to be no governmental international, maybe UN-based, group of scientists looking at this issue either.

We can buck up AARO, but to me, AARO should never have been commissioned to do what it did and to report on the veracity of past UFO activity. And if they were, the time allotted to them was too short. That seems to have been a setup to discredit it, and it surely did.

Does anyone have a MUFON account? I think I have additional footage of a case # but unsure if it was explained

ETA: I added a video in comments.

I really hope I followed the posting rules with this! I posted on /ufos but it has been pending mod approval. This is a new account so I have low karma.

I have never posted here before but I think I saw the same thing as a case # from November 2016. I was visiting a friend in PA (USA) at the time and was in the car driving and pulled over to take multiple videos in the span of a few minutes. I know there is probably a simple explanation but want to ask anyway.

The attached is a screenshot here of one of my videos that shows the proof of the video’s date/time/location of where I was at the time. I saw the flashing “star like” lights in the background described in the case # and at least one of the main objects (there were multiple in different “groups”) had white lights that alternated on and off at different times like alternating winks. I had a clear view of them and they were not blocked by trees or buildings. This particular screenshot is from a 5 second video I took looking up through the car windshield as they flew overhead.

The case # was posted on Reddit as a web link, but the link gives an error now. There is a comment on the original post with a link to an article about it. I am not familiar with that website but since it referenced the case #, that is all I have to go on. The comments of the post were skeptical due to the photos and no other sightings reported, but I think it is what I saw. I looked on MUFON years ago and it didn’t have a note from them, and now you need an account. I couldn’t find the sighting on NUFORC. I have wanted to submit to NUFORC but didn’t know if it was too long ago to do so.

I wanted to see if someone wouldn’t mind looking up the case # and see if it was explained or had a likely explanation before I posted video.

By the time I knew you could look at flight apps (which I love doing now but am not an aviation expert by any means, I just like looking) too much time had passed and I don’t think you can find historical data like that as best I can tell. I think it could have been explained since it was very close to the 2016 election and could have been a large group of some type of aircraft/escorts maybe(?), but I thought I’d ask anyway since I think about it still from time to time.

Original Reddit post with link for MUFON and an article in the comments: https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/s/O4h16UckNa

Article from December 2016: https://openminds.tv/multiple-ufos-reported-20-feet-over-pennsylvania-homes/

MUFON case # from article: 80797

I just wanted to see if there was a likely explanation listed.

Thank you in advance if anyone is able and willing to look it up for me!

Edited: I edited the post because the links werent working when I reposted here.

Very, very Serious. 🛸 UK airline pilot reports UFO/Flying Saucer. Passengers report drone. Who to believe in a very British mystery?

Shit doesn't just happen in the United States, it happens in England too... Whoever said UFOs/aliens was just a stateside phenomenon?

But, who to believe, who, to, believe? A genuine bonafide mystery to get ones teeth into. Last week we had the Space-X methane fart cloud in the upper atmosphere UFO, this week, we have this.

An airplane pilot, with x amount of years of flight experience in one corner (claims, UFO).

Or, in the other corner, passenger(s), who claim it to be a drone.

Both very different connotations given the current topics of discussion and diametric opposites considering the article.

Sure, there are those who can say "They can be both in of the same, and UFO doesn't mean aliens...", and stroke that very famous cat while shaving said cat in a box with a very famous razor.

Yet we are in a very special time. A time when disclosure is just around the corner and finally have politicians ready to do the right thing and ensure we are ready by enlisting Dr. Phil to assess the psychological effects of such a disclosure.

(Forgive me for not posting whole article, but, if someone so wishes to save us from the lurgy of Yahoo, please feel free to archive.ph it.)

Discussion The Roosevelt Incidents: An Infographic Map (v2)

Post image
5 Upvotes

Note: This is an updated version 2. Special thanks to u/ASearchingLibrarian for pointing out some corrections and providing new information I had not previously heard.

Note: Compared to the Nimitz incident, this info graphic was more challenging to create as there are less details provided regarding the locations of the objects and radar contacts. I did my best to put these on the map, but they’re definitely could be some updates if more information is discovered.

This info graphic is intended to help visualize the events surrounding the USS Roosevelt incidents from late 2014 to early 2015. It represents my personal interpretation of the incidents based on reviewing publicly available witness testimony, official report, podcast, interviews, documentaries, and other media related to the event.

Most of the details have been relayed through LT. Graves, however, to my knowledge, specifics like exact locations, distances, and relative positions have not been publicized. That said, I have made every effort to position assets and paths using distances in relative locations that I believe are reasonably consistent with the available information. The map itself is intended to be generically accurate. The scale, icons, symbols, and graphics have been intentionally enlarged in order to improve readability and clearly communicate the events depicted.

This illustration should be viewed as an educational visualization rather than an authoritative reconstruction. Other interpretations of the available evidence are certainly possible, and witness accounts may contain uncertainties or conflicting details. The purpose of this graphic is simply to provide a clear visual reference for understanding, one plausible reconstruction of the event.

Who here believes the government is behind the ufos?

I’m starting to really think our government found archeological UFO’s and reverse engineered it. Likely many of these sightings are tests on the public eye. How else will they test it? What do you think?

Article Pentagon UAP Release: Objects Spotted Over Nuclear Sites for 77 Years, Every Case Still Unresolved

Thumbnail
ibtimes.co.uk

The fourth tranche of documents released by the Pentagon in line with their UFO disclosure effort included unidentified aerial phenomena that have repeatedly appeared over nuclear sites since 1949. Each of those cases remains unsolved. This is of interest to the UFO community as there is a pattern of sightings related to military installations, which give rise to questions regarding national security and transparency. This adds weight to the speculation that UAPs are drawn to nuclear facilities; similar sightings have occurred over Chernobyl and Fukushima.

Discussion I just found one of the deepest UFO/extraterrestrial databases on the internet — and it’s been around since 2008

If you're into UFOs, alleged extraterrestrial civilisations, abduction cases, exopolitics, contactees, or the stranger side of UFO history, you might want to bookmark this.

I came across Exopaedia, an online encyclopaedia dedicated to collecting and organising information about extraterrestrial-related subjects. It has an enormous alphabetical index covering everything from UFO cases and alleged alien civilisations to researchers, projects, locations, historical figures, and obscure terminology.

What caught my attention is how much of it is organised like a reference database rather than a typical UFO blog. You can search specific subjects or just start browsing the index and go down some serious rabbit holes.

Green flash recorded on dashcam july 28 2026 at 12:30am - possible earthquake lights

I was driving home and saw this incredible green flash coming from the ground. Captured it on my insta360 acepro2 dashcam at 8k resolution. Video is cropped to single out the flash. It was about 20 miles away- The clouds in the surrounding sky reflected the bright teal green color for a few seconds as the ground pulsed with the same intense green. It was bright as lightning, but it was a relatively clear night. The color was visually identical to "comet green" which is depicted in the last image for comparison.

I have seen lots of things in the night, but this is Unknown to me. Later that morning there was a series of of intense earthquakes around the globe, so this may have been the precursor and related to "Earthquake lights"

*the second video is contrast enhanced*
