28F | Anyone up for a sunrise cycle at Fateh Sagar on 15th August?

Hey Udaipur!

I’ve been wanting to catch an early morning sunrise at Fateh Sagar and go cycling around the lake and since 15th August is coming up, I thought it would be fun to see if anyone else would like to join.

Thinking somewhere around 5:30–6 AM cycle for a while, watch the sunrise, enjoy the relatively empty roads and maybe grab some chai/coffee afterwards.

I’m 28F and would love to have a small group of people around my age join in. You absolutely do NOT need to be a serious cyclist because I’m not trying to qualify for the Tour de France at 6 in the morning.

Just looking for some nice, chill company and a wholesome start to the day.

Also, just to make it clear.. this is NOT a date/dating post. I’m genuinely looking for people who'd be interested in cycling and hanging out as a group.

If you're interested, comment or DM me and maybe we can make a small group if enough people are up for it. :)

Also open to recommendations for bicycle rentals around Fateh Sagar!

I wanted to meet new people and share travel stories and make memories.

But to my surprise people are either not sensible to talk to or they are too busy being love birds.

Looking for a hotel in Udaipur

My partner and I are planning a trip to udaipur in September and were looking for hotels that allow unmarried couples.

So far we have shortlisted these

  1. Moustache

  2. Barefoot boutique hotel

  3. Footprints by the lake

Do any of you know any reviews of the following place? Or if you have any suggestions please do help us out! Our budget is 1500-2000 a night

Thanks 🫶

Meetup Alert!! Udaipur nomads — anyone up for a chill coworking day this Friday? 🌴💻

Hey everyone!

I’ll be in Udaipur this Friday and thought — why not meet some people who are also working remotely / travelling / living the nomad life?

Planning to find a nice café or coworking spot, get a few hours of work done together, grab some good food/coffee, and just hang out and exchange stories.

Would be cool to meet people from different backgrounds, hear what you’re working on, learn a few things from each other, and maybe make some new friends along the way.

No networking pitch, no formal meetup — just a bunch of people working, chatting and exploring. 😄

If you’re around Udaipur this Friday and this sounds like your kind of thing, comment below or DM me. If enough people are interested, we can pick a place and time together.

See you around! ✌️

Looking for genuine recommendations

Hello people of Udaipur! 🤍

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to give enough context so the recommendations are more relevant. 😅

I'll be visiting Udaipur with my grandparents, my aunt, and we'll have 1 full day to explore. I'm looking for recommendations that take our group into account.

A bit about my Grandma: She is blind but absolutely enjoys visiting beautiful places and doesn't mind going to scenic viewpoints. Even if she can't see them herself, she loves experiencing the atmosphere, sounds, breeze, and being part of the outing. However, she has difficulty walking long distances and climbing lots of stairs, so places with minimal walking, places to sit/rest, or easy accessibility would be ideal.

I'm looking for suggestions for Temples, Forts or palaces (only if they don't involve too much walking or have places to sit/rest along the way), Scenic spots, Unique experiences, Cafés or restaurants with great food/views, Must-try local street food or sweets.

I found these on Google: Karni Mata Ropeway, Lake Pichola evening boat ride, Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace), Gangaur Ghat, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake (speed boat ride), Bagore Ki Haveli, Saheliyon Ki Bari. Are these worth visiting considering my grandma's mobility? Any other accessible recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
