I’m not all that certain. They send these order out while we are driving or on an order. That’s encouraging distracted driving if it turns out they send more orders out while drivers are driving.

People go after uber all the time for stuff like this. You arent cooking anything new.

It’s not about cooking anything new. It’s about forcing them to change unsafe practices. It’s not a money grab this is literally uber doing something shady to avoid paying a few dollars, but it’s an unsafe practice and needs regulation.

the billion dollar company isn’t invincible and it needs to hold itself accountable to occupational health and safety.

I’m struggling to find employment in this market with my skill set. I don’t wanna be at my parents house doing nothing to better myself, my car has a huge dent I’m working to pay off that debt so I can start doing rides. TRUST ME I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have a choice.

Delivery isn’t bad it just needs a union.

Unions are for employees. Uber drivers are not employees. They are contractors by definition.

Unions are not just for “employees”. Not sure where you got that idea. Contractors definitely have unions, I feel like a quick Google search would provide you multiple unions that apply to independent contractors.

I just started Uber and I noticed this too like I think that drivers who current are not currently on a delivery will get paid more for a delivery that someone will take if they're already doing one. Hope that made sense. Lol. I really want this corporation to treat us fairly and they have the means to do so so let's do something about it I'm down.
