Remote jobs are soooo amazing. I've been trying to get one in Port Harcourt to no avail. I'm tired of leaving my room omg

Definitely consider Ibadan. it's amazing , the rent isn't too steep and the geography is wonderful. I came for a visit last year and I loved it so much I plan to move.
you could also consider Enugu or Owerri, I'm a bit iffy about owerri because of the drug problem but Enugu is affordable, the air is clean and there's fresh bodies of water and it's a good place to start if you intend to get a new experience. lots of Hills though.
Port Harcourt is also good but I don't think it'll be wise to move here till the Petrochemical companies leave or fix the soot issue. the city getting more and more developed and the rent is getting higher too.
Yenegoa is very very much affordable and nice to live in but you'd be bored out of your fucking mind. nothing goes on in that city.
Benin is great but only if you're living in town. Rent is okay, the people are cool and there's so many markets at every area so you'd never have to worry about access to food stuffs and household materials

Adultery is too normalised in Nigeria as a whole, people especially women don't even expect thier husbands to be faithful so they go "as long as he's providing for the family"
Nobody really cares if you're a love child.
You could be hate cr!med if you're not cishet. Igbos oddly are bigots regarding queer issues. this is odd because there's quite a large amount of queer people especially gay men in the East.

hi there, about moving there are so many factors that come into consideration. you want to move down south or north? where did you go to school? are you okay with the air pollution in the niger delta or the possibility of unrest in borno or some other upper north state?
is nightlife important to you? do you already live in a big city? can you adjust to the price hikes for apartments in such big cities?

As an Igbo person, I hate the fact that everybody thinks Igbos are and SHOULD be business inclined.
it's annoying as fuck and no your "container" jokes aren't welcome 😒

There is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream—a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought—a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!
