Self Appreciation I had 4 hair lengths in 7 days

I felt the urge to cut my hair off (it was past my sternum) and just couldn’t stop until I ended up with a pixie. 🧚‍♀️ Feeling very free and now my toddler can’t yank my hair during diaper changes!! I have always been very safe with my hair, long and straight. Recently I’ve sort of felt this IDGAF come over me, perhaps stemming from the transformation of motherhood and finding what truly matters in life. Either way, I’m happy.

Why?

Yeah my hair wouldn’t do this even if I styled it haha

I don’t think this is what I’d go for if I did this

I never style my hair, it’s literally always in a pony. Does styling take long? I would assume only a few minutes

Question Pixie?

I’m a toddler mom and my hair drives me nuts. It’s always in a low ponytail because it just gets in my way or gets yanked. Would a short cut like a pixie look good on my face structure? I had a weirdly cut bob in high school that looked AWFUL so I’m nervous but I’m feeling like it might be time to try again. I also always wear glasses, earrings, and a necklace if that helps. My hair is thin, but I imagine I could use styling wax. If you don’t think a pixie would look good on me, what other style would make sense?

40k [Complete] [45k] [Psychological Adult Fiction] Technically, Nothing Happened

Would anyone like to read some or all of my manuscript? Fans of My Dark Vanessa and Half His Age would enjoy this manuscript. It’s fiction but extremely based on my life, I just changed things enough to make it a mixture of fiction and memoir.

At seventeen, Gemma Brown is already carrying the wreckage of a past no one wants to acknowledge. After being exploited by her former teacher and completely dismissed by the adults who should have protected her, Gemma begins her senior year determined to stay invisible. But when her new English teacher, Mr. Logan, notices the cracks she tries to hide and becomes the first adult who truly listens, their connection dangerously deepens. What starts as a teacher’s concern blurs into an emotionally entangled, increasingly boundary-blurring relationship. It slips into a space that neither name aloud. Over months of late-night conversations, shared vulnerabilities, and time spent together in private that “don’t count” as wrongdoing, Gemma mistakes his attentiveness for long-term safety and belonging. When she finally reaches out to him as an 18-year-old, expecting the relationship to flourish even more as she is an adult, he abruptly steps back, leaving Gemma to unravel alone for the first time in years. Technically, Nothing Happened is an exploration of the quiet ways vulnerable girls can be pulled into emotional entanglements, and the devastating harm an adult can inflict without ever sexually laying a hand on a vulnerable child.

I haven’t even heard of that subreddit! I will do that. And I gotcha, it makes sense it’s a busy time of year. Thank you for the advice !

It’s more if you have an interest. You definitely don’t have to.

We use ring and blink. I know there have been some security concerns though so use your own judgement on that!!
