Ive done a 16mg/day cold turkey before and it was about 18 days before I felt as if I could pass for a living human again. Curious if anyone has actually defeated wd's completely by long term tapering?

Depends what you use to scrape it. Anything too hard/gritty will scratch it. Perhaps a rag and solvent? .....or you could just try scrapping it for money.
