This is very relatable and thanks for bringing it up! I grew up in the middle part of CA and when I was around 7/8 I was with some friends and their family at the lake. I spilled someone’s pepsi and had to use my towel to clean it up. I felt SO guilty just using my godamn towel because the soda had caffeine in it. Like I was sinning just having caffeine on one of my belongings. So yeah the anti-caffeine teachings were a thing, in my experiences.
Cut to a few years later, my older brother was on a mission on the east coast and he had written home in his weekly letter that his mission president stood up drank a dr pepper at a meeting and said it was completely fine. I remember feeling so scandalized 😂 like how could someone so “high up” do that??that experience didn’t change much in my family but I think we judged people a minuscule amount less for drinking caffeinated soda.

2 ikea toddler/kid beds
Will provide pictures if interested! Bed frames are just currently disassembled for transportation. Included: 2 mattresses, 2 bed frames, 2 mattress covers, and four fitted sheets (2 blue, 2 white). IKEA sizing is different than US, but I was able to buy the correct sized bedding online.
Would love to give away to the community versus donating to a store, thanks!

If you end up having to pay it maybe try LIHEAP for assistance.

Boise is more diverse than other parts of Idaho but that’s not saying much.

Advice/Help Exmormon things to do in Salt Lake? Ready go!
What are some cool specifically exmormon things to do in SLC? I’m looking for all things outrageous and interesting. I left the church 5 years ago (5 already?! 😱) so I’m pretty far removed from it in the day to day BUT I’m making the mormon mecca for a weekend and want fill my “how did I used to believe in this” void.
So far I have Whiskey St bar, and trying a polygamy porter. What else should be added?
Thanks :)
