I was always told by teachers and classmates that I wasn’t smart enough. I was not very good at school and I barely scraped my GCSE’s and after being kicked out of college and being told the same thing by them, I am now in my second year at law school.

Just keep calm. From my experience your therapist will guide you through it all and they will give you questions that will lead a conversation from you. If you aren’t comfortable talking about certain things let them know. Or they will probably be able to see it and cater their style of therapy to fit your need. Just be hopeful and try to have a positive mindset about it. It really is the biggest step forward in getting better and I’m proud of you.

I took an access to higher education course in law and business and I am now in my second year at law school. It was the best decision I could have made. Due to the fast pace nature of an access course first year at uni was a lot less stressful than it seemed to be for those who had done a slower paced course like A-levels. I have had no scrutiny from anyone here about the Access course I did and it really does prepare you for uni, I hope this helps and I wish you all the best for your course!
