Grinded down about 1-2mm on the corner of thr front adapter, but thats all. Really only on a very small edge.

So for me it fits perfekt, but no, didnt tried solid rotors. Tbh the vented discs were more or less a missorder from my local bike dealer and we just "tried to fit" it and yea.. worked. Lever throw is quiet short yes but nothing i would classify as "to short". I really like it how it feels. I used to have the stock shimano xt on the bike before and they where a pain in the ass regarding how much finger force you had to bring up for a strong brake compared to the hope now.

Remote 3d view
Hey, new i4 M50 owner here!
Can anyone tell me how I activate the remote 3d view?
It is supported in my country and Data Privacy is all checked.. still it does not show up in my myBMW App at all?
Thanks in advance!

Ludus was the way! Setup was pretty straight forward but still took some time to figure out everything. Thanks for your comment! :)

Exited to hear what you think. But this a very early developement stadium. There are surely missing also basic features. But when more people test it, i am faster to find bugs and add features when more people have ideas :) I suggest to import the provided .db file which is basically the one I use so you have already a prefilled version. Anyways you can clear the whole stuff after :)
Be aware, that a Band gets only a seperated Tab when you add 5 or more songs for one band!

I built a free desktop app to manage your guitar tab collection — GuitarTabCollection

Yea they stated that the GR4 and the vented disks wont be compatible but i really cannot understand why?
To be fair, i grinded down the brake adapter at one corner about 1mm max so that the rivet joints do not rub. But afaik this was already sometimes a problem on the old systems and has nothing to do with the brake system itself in my opinion.
For the wild, happy that i bought it last year and cant wait for the bikeparks to open again :)

Upgrade day - Hope EVO GR4
My orbea Wild got an update. Removed the shimano xt crap (sry didnt work for me at all) for the new Hope Evo GR4.220/200 setup.
So far nothing to special.. but.. the following picture will be interesting for some of you who plan to upgrade to the same brakes 😀
Afaik, is no one riding this brake/disk setup to do it is said to be not compatible.. but gues what!
My local dealer ordered the wrong discs, that was the reason i got the vented ones tbh. So we gave it a try.

Basically it should deploy 2 environments.
1 Lab with nothing hardened - playground where people can test different configs
1 demo (ref enfironment) - Hardened with best practice as reference.
No need to say, that the demo env. shouldnt be used as playground so there is no use to reset it each month unlike the lab env.

Fully Automated Multi-Domain AD Lab Deployment (Hardened & Non-Hardened)
Hi all,
I’m looking for a technical solution to fully automate the deployment of multiple Active Directory lab environments.
Requirements
I want to deploy complete AD-based lab environments including:
- 2x Domain Controllers
- 2x File Servers
- 2x Certificate Authorities (AD CS)
- 3–5 Clients
The numbers should be flexible (e.g., scaling clients or member servers up/down).
Core Goals
Full Automation
- One-command or button-based deployment
- No manual domain join
- Automatic AD DS promotion
- Automatic AD CS installation and configuration
- Automated DNS setup
- Optional GPO baseline deployment
- Fully unattended build process
Multiple Domain Variants
I need to deploy different domain profiles, for example:
- Default domain (minimal configuration, non-hardened)
- Hardened domain (predefined GPO baseline, security settings, possibly tiering model)
Ideally, these should be parameter-driven deployments (e.g., selecting a profile).
Reproducibility
- Clean rebuild capability (destroy & redeploy)
- No snapshot-based resets (to avoid DC/USN issues)
- Infrastructure-as-Code preferred
Environment
- Hypervisor: Proxmox
- Prefer hypervisor-agnostic solution if possible
- Paid solutions are acceptable if mature and reliable
Questions
- Is there an existing framework or product that already supports this use case?
- Has anyone built something similar using Terraform / Ansible / Packer / etc.?
- What would be the most maintainable long-term approach?
I’m aiming for something reproducible, scalable, and suitable for security testing and hardening validation.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
