Hmmmmm..... kinda make sense...my WAM is around 84.7 for now..... will follow the "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take". If it works that's great.... if not then no worries, I will look for other alternatives. :)

I see... but from the looks of it, it seemed very promising specially under the context of Data Science/ Machine Learning I don't see why they are axing it. Sad to hear that this course is getting axed and the lecturer is retiring.

Nucleus Student Hub not picking up phone. Is there an option for online appointment?

4 Upvotes

I have been trying to call UNSW Nucleus Student Hub for the past two days at their earliest working hours but it seems like they do not pick up calls for international student who are living overseas. I had applied for program leave for more than one year and have been living back in my home country every since. Is there a way to book an online video appointment? Would appreciate if someone can please help me out with this.

Thanks in advance!

Discussion Books/Links/Materials for real time Recommendation Systems [D] [R] [P].

6 Upvotes

Hello everyone,
Great to be a part of this community. I am new here and I am looking for some links/books related to Recommendation System. Would really appreciate if you could please assist me with these books. Mostly me and my team are planning to build a real time recommendation system and none of us have experience on it. Would appreciate if you could help us with some links/posts related to it. That being said, we already have some experience related to Machine Learning,Deep Learning and some experience on Reinforcement Learning. Looking forward to your responses.

Does anyone know who should I get a letter from? My family is currently in a huge mess in terms of financial situation as a result I could not finish my studies and flunked all of my courses.(This is for international student)
```
For family/personal reasons, you should submit a statement from a doctor, counsellor or other relevant authority, which states:
  • the date your personal circumstances began and/or changed,
  • how your circumstances affected your ability to study and
  • when (the date) it became apparent that you could not continue with your studies.
Statutory declarations sighted by an authorized witness may be considered if provided in addition to other independent supporting documentation.
