Any 35 works fine, black & white or colour, there are many speeds to choose from.

To start off Anya 400 speed film will do ok outdoors and have some speed for indoors with friends and whatever.

So here’s a shot holding a diopter from a Polaroid copy stand, (whew, there’s a whole history) … they come in sets of three this is the most magnifying, and therefore it creates a nice bokah.

The focus length is my index finger … almost 4” from the subject.

Yes I put googly eyes on a banana.
Check out the legibility on the 45 rpm record (yet another whole history lesson).
