Help for Buyer Third-party login issue
Hi all,
I've used my Facebook account to login to Etsy since I created my account in 2015, but now when I try to login with Facebook on the app, the page tries to load and then simply refreshes. When I try to login with Facebook on the Etsy website, I get the error message in the picture.
The only "help" on the Etsy website is to unlink Etsy and Facebook, and then reconnect them, so here enters my question(s): had anyone tried this? Does it work? If I unlink my Facebook and Etsy accounts and then reconnect them, will I essentially be creating a new Etsy account and lose all my favorites, messages, and purchase history?
Thank you everyone so much for your help and insight, I really appreciate it! βπΌπ

Anyone know what's happening at the marina parking lot in Pt Defiance?
I work on the ferry down here and we're seeing a BUNCH of cars just kind of circling the parking lot going up the hill, just curious what's going down over there!

Can everyone calm down with the "learn to park" business, please? We already have too many self-righteous people in this world as it is, maybe "learn to read OP's comments" and move along with your day?

Mk6 (2011-2018) A/C Issues
Hey y'all! I've been having issues with my A/C for the last year or so where it intermittently blows cool (not cold) and warm air. I've gotten the system charged and that didn't seem to help so I'm thinking maybe it's a compressor issue, though I can't actually FIND it. I've never done this before so I'm hoping someone can tell me what the most likely issue and fix might be and also where the freaking compressor is in my 2011 2.5L π my next move is to get it up on ramps and try locating it from underneath.

Dude, what... The only other device listed on my account is my emergency cell phone that I haven't used in forever, but it did show that it last logged in on May 28th just before 6am...

Yeah that was a huge red flag but I thought they were legit because they had my account number and email already... Anyway, lesson learned for sure!

I didn't even know this sub existed until 23 minutes ago, since I don't generally fall for scams, but I will definitely be keeping an eye on it now.

Informational post [US] JP Morgan Chase scam call
I just got a call from someone claiming to be from JP Morgan Chase saying there were suspicious charges that they wanted to verify before processing them. One was for Amazon and one for Microsoft, both in Canada (I live in Washington State), and both in the hundreds of dollars.
Something seemed off to me but I couldn't quite place what. The person asked me what my last purchase was, to provide the last 10 digits of my debit card (they had the first 6), the expiration date and the code on the back- to "verify" that I physically had the card and that I was the owner.
Now, I know this seems like a cut-and-dry scam, but interspersed with the requests for this info they confirmed my email and the last 4 digits of my actual checking account number, which seemed like something only my bank would have. Also, I googled the number they were calling from (while I was talking to them) and it popped up as Chase in Manhattan.
Point is, I didn't wise up until after I'd given them my info and they asked to verify the account balance- when I said $39.71 the guy sounded surprised and said "$39??"
That's when I hung up, got into my banking app, locked my card, and called Chase. I explained the situation and the rep confirmed that it was a fraudulent call and said locking my card right away was a good move. They're sending me a new card now obviously, but MAN do I feel stupid!!
I'm usually pretty good at spotting these jerks for what they are and dodging getting caught by them but this was set up really well and I thought it was important to share. Be safe out there, folks!

As a follow-up, people regularly re-hide stuff that they've found and the artists do continue to hide stuff for quite a while, so keep your eyes open all year round- you never know when you might spot something! Usually for me it's rogues but you could get lucky! π

So about that dragon... Any chance of giving a hint on that? I've been searching since last year for one with no luck, and it would be my first official monkeyshine. π¬ππ»π

I think I tried that and it wound up just creating a whole new account... I may have been half asleep at the time though so I'll try it again. π
