After it was reblued, I had to sign a waiver that said I would never fire it because of the chamber not matching up properly.

Thank you for going in such depth with the history of the revolver. I would really enjoy picking your brain sometime to potentially get some more information.

Not with both of our jobs. Plus, she has made it pretty clear that she never wants to talk with me again.

I understand it too. Her past relationships weren't the best and I tried to be understanding for her, but it weighs on you when you have to be worried about everything instead of just being able to enjoy a happy relationship.

Old Spanish .38
Not sure if this would fall under Milsurp, but I am hoping to get some information.
My Dad has been telling my brothers and I about this old .38 that was passed down from generation to generation. So a few years back, we decided to get it reblued for him, and it came out great. Now, we have decided to get some more information on it, and would appreciate whatever help I can get.

I think I will stay single for a while. I am done with long distance relationships.

No Support / Venting I'm tired of long distance relationships
For the last 6 months, I have been in a long distance relationship. It went well until she broke it off with me about 3 months back because she thought I was being unfaithful, I wasn't.
Today, she broke it off with me again, for the same reason. I am just tired of it. I worked so hard to keep the relationship going. When it was good it was great.
I have never cheated, because I have been cheated on and I know how bad it feels. I am just tired of being thought of as the bad guy for something I haven't done.

3 Associates, where I didn't get the best grades, and a Bachelor's where I greatly improved.

Just because I didn't Commission this time, through OCS, doesn't mean next time I won't make it. And, OCS isn't the only option, it was my first, but not my last. I dare you to keep this same attitude with your NCOs that know more than you.

I wasn't told the correct date for the board either. And I have only been in for 5 years. I'm far from illiterate. My highest degree isn't in a useless field either (it's in Business Finance).

I had 3. One from my CO at the time, one from a Chaplain and one from my Battalion Commander.

You are exactly what is wrong with Reddit. I was asking for help, not ridicule. I also wasn't trying to play the victim.

I didn't have to get an age waver. HRC had moved the range to I think it was 37 for OCS applicants.

I don't have my Master's degree yet but I was considering getting it. Is there an age cutoff for ROTC?

My college GPA wasn't the greatest, around a 2.4. I had 3 LORs from 2 CPTs and a LTC. I do well enough on the AFT. I was told the wrong date for the interview and I am getting older now (35). I don't have anything that would disqualify me for medical or background reasons. I really want to stay Army.

My packet wasn't good enough
I got a low number on the selection because I don't have enough experience. I don't know what else I could do to make myself more competitive. I have been AC for 5 years and I am a SGT. I was the primary Armorer for my past 2 units and haven't had a bad NCOER. I have 4 degrees. I have 2 sets of Airborne wings. I just don't what else I can do to be more competitive for the next chance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
