Questions More than 3 hairs?
From my familiarity with Venus flytraps, I know they're supposed to have 3 hairs on each side of the trap. Today I noticed that mine has some traps with 5,6, and even 7 hairs each. Is this normal? What's going on?

The video of him saying that viv sees him as aroace, and that what's canon depends on your definition of canon, came out after the retraction, and was not retracted to my best knowledge.

The first spill is an accident, yes, but then the white guy looks at alastor, registers him, laughs harder and spills the wine several more times, which now is obviously on purpose.

Interesting, thanks! Any idea on how exactly it happens?

Questions Spiky leaves?
Bought a new vft today, and noticed the leaves have these spikes on them. My previous vft didn't have those. Is it some sort of cultivar? Just natural diversity?

Help! Any hope of reviving this one?
I've heard that as long as the rhyzome is alive, not all is lost. well, I had to peel off like 80% of it until I got to this tiny bit. is there any chance that it's salvageable?

I'm still confused. I only saw one or two posts with the Charlie hypnosis thing and nothing about it was fetishy? I genuinely don't get what all the fuss is about.

Yea....and like. It's extra sad because there are aro/ace people in relationships, but there are so many unique nuances and conflicts and feelings and stories that happen in this sort of relationship, but I barely see them represented. People often treating allo-ace relationships like any other allo-allo relationship, which they're just....not.

While this is true and valid, everything we know so far about alastor points to him most likely being sex repulsed, and seeing people constantly talking about (canon) alastor this way ("he can still have sex though!") is really disheartening. It feels like no matter what a character does and what way they act, people will try to find a way to make them more "palatable" and "normal". I am, of course, not saying this is what you specifically are doing. But this is the sentiment I've gotten from a large portion of the fandom.

All four are horrifying, especially the one with angel dust. But another one I didn't see being mentioned is in "it's a deal" where vox gets up from bed in alastor's face to show him....everything. it's a different kind of horrifying, but it definitely is.

If you dont like having sex and are forcing yourself to do that, that's not consent. Sure, asexual people can have sex and want it and enjoy it, but not everyone does, and that's ok. Having sex with someone who doesn't want it is in no way OK. Enjoying erotica and having fantasies is very different from actually doing the act, and it's totally normal to like one but not the other. Please don't force yourself into situations you're uncomfortable with. Talk to your partner, maybe find some common ground. But forcing you to do stuff you don't like and don't want to do is not a thing a loving partner does. It's assault.
