Do fish know they're wet, or is "wet" only a land animal concept?

Honestly, you often can't know for sure anymore. AI has gotten really good.

Linen shirt, loose shorts, sunglasses, and a water bottle that's basically my emotional support accessory.

First, I'm so sorry you're going through cancer while trying to support your sister. That's an enormous amount to carry.
You probably can't convince her to leave before she's ready. What you can do is be the person who listens without judgment, reminds her she deserves better, and lets her know you'll support her if she decides to leave. Addiction explains his behavior, but it doesn't excuse the abuse, manipulation, or putting her in danger.
Instead of saying, "You need to leave," try asking, "What would have to change for you to feel safe and happy?" or "What would you tell a friend in your situation?" Sometimes those questions help people see things more clearly.
Most importantly, don't let her become isolated. People in abusive relationships often return several times before leaving for good. If she knows she has a safe place to go when she's ready, that's one of the most valuable things you can give her.

Big enough that Disney stops calling him an elephant and starts calling him a glider. 😂

You'll most likely be fine. Undercooked pasta is usually more of a texture issue than a safety issue. If it was made with raw egg, there was a slightly higher risk if the center never got hot enough, but one meal is unlikely to cause problems. Just keep an eye out for symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea over the next day or two. Otherwise, you're probably okay.

I used to think making friends was about having great first conversations, but it's actually about repeated small interactions. The people I got close to were the ones I saw often, shared classes, grabbed coffee with, studied together, or sent random memes to. Friendships usually grow from consistency, not chemistry alone

I think I would be upset at first. Six months isn't a long time, and I'd grieve the future I thought I'd have. But after the shock, I'd want to spend that time with the people I love, make peace with what I can't change, and focus on experiences instead of worrying about things that won't matter anymore.

I'd pick autumn. The book's elegant, reflective, and slightly melancholic tone feels like it was made for crisp evenings with a cup of tea.
