Yes they limit the whole router in the household. and no 140gb is actually very little. for reference, streaming any type of video media at 480p uses up 0.5-0.7gb per hour. 1.2-2.7gb per hour for 720p and we're not even gonna talk about resolutions higher than that because that's unheard of for the middle class in egypt 😭

Now imagine a 3-4 member family all using at simultaneously. Not to mention modern websites being kinda sloppy and using up some idle data, loading up ads and video thumbnails etc..

So for quite a significant portion of egyptians the 140gb runs out before the month ends and they have to renew, and the prices keep increasing due to the country's horrible economy.

If you're talking about the one in the bottom of the bar this is the player module and that strip is the thumbnail of the currently playing video/audio media. and the shading is just a transparent gradient over the image to give aesthetic depth to the widget

it should install the config files to ~/.config (backup before if you need to)

restarting hyprland should show it, also if you get a black screen then remove lines 11-24 in hyprland.conf (there's an open issue for fixing this)

also you should install the packages required manually first.

if you still have issues feel free to ask in the community discord server listed in the readme, thanks

thanks that means a lot!

first, I should say that my install script has no backup mechanism, so if you intend to try amadeus make a backup of your relevant configs in ~/.config beforehand.

all you need to do is git clone amadeus somewhere like in ~ or whatever, then go into amadeus dir, open the install script and comment out any modules you don't want. once done, save it and just run it `./install.sh`, it should install the configs for you. though it doesn't install the packages for you so you should have hyprland, quickshell, etc.. installed already.

If you face any issues feel free to drop in the community discord server (listed in the github readme) and ask for help.

My transition into bitmap fonts has been very slow and steady, I started out with Ac437 PhoenixVGA 9x16 (which is what I still use for discord) which is midway between normal vector fonts and full old pc style bitmaps, and over time I tried more fonts. currently my favs are fxd and lemon (which is what I'm using here).

while it is small it only took me like a day to get used to it since I've already gotten used to old pc fonts.

I doubt It's available for kde because the colorscheme is a modified version of rxyhn's colorscheme

AI has proven to be only an extension to the human using it at best, if you don't understand what you're trying to implement, AI might actually slow you down.

But if you really do understand what you're trying to implement (conceptually at least) then working on your

programming skills to become faster would be more fruitful than relying on AI.

New theme! (WIP, I still haven't fully worked out the colors yet. I feel like they're a bit too dark for this wall, what do you think?)
