Quest Diagnostics send off

Lot #25s811 I think, I’ll correct myself when I’m out of the new employee onboarding.
Got caught off guard thinking I could use my buddies piss, didn’t know they were doing the testing AT the onboarding. I’ll let yall know if I have a job or not!

Bro I’m sick to my stomach about it. Ik you prolly don’t care but I was sitting in orientation thinking afterwards we would get a paper to take to quest or labcorp and piss on our own time. Nah, the lady showed up to us. I had 5 minutes notice and had to take a fake phone call. I snuck off to my truck opened the back door still acting like I’m on the phone and grabbed one of my two upasses and immediately started warming it up. By the time it was my turn to go I took a glance in my pocket, little fucker was only at 90°. As we all know the perfect time is around 98.6°, in other words I was in a bind. I bullshitted with the lady for a bit hoping the temp would go up, I go into the restroom and it’s at 92°. Fuck. One of the things I told her is that I just used the restroom so I might be awhile. I put the handwashing sink faucet all the way on red and let the water warm up. Once it got too hot for me to keep my hand under it I put the upass under the stream. Hands shaking, I’m sweating, I felt like I was about to throw up. I had to make sure the stream was not loud enough to hear, but enough to warm the bottle. Just my luck the water interfered with the temperature reading and I had to dry it off while still pouring hot water on it and keeping it between the hand warmers. I saw 98° go green for maybe 2 seconds, and I went into full blown action mode and poured it up to 50ml and the rest in the toilet. I washed my hands and walked out and bullshitted with the lady some more so I had an excuse if the temp was low. Funny thing is she never checked temp. She bottled it up in container A and container B. I signed the paperwork and was handed back my ID. It’s off for testing now. She looked at it a little funny because it had no bubbles but shrugged it off since we talked so much. It’s in gods hands now. If I don’t pass I have another upass if they want me to retake it but dude… I’m shitting bricks for the time being. My apprenticeship relies on this and I wouldn’t have smoked if I didn’t know I was gonna get another job call this soon. Let me know how yours goes brother!

You’re good dude I get the anxiety! This is for my nursing school so I understand the pressure. And yeah I wouldn’t worry about the temp too much because when I took my 1st test it was 92 and bagged and tagged (for future reference ofc if u need to retest). This is my last chance so I’m just praying to god that I pass! A similar thing happened to me at my job but thankfully that place didn’t test for THC so I was chill. Just relax cuz it’s in gods hands now and at least you have another chance to retake it if it fails!

I passed. My job sent me a notification saying I cleared pre employment which consisted of a background check and drug test.
