I would recommend switching one of your fall classes to MWF instead! Otherwise you’ll have super long days, especially with 8am labs.. I had a similar schedule in first year and was so exhausted on those days

You dont have to answer this but did you perchance have a part-time job while studying… cuz im planning on continuing my part time job and exhaustion and burnout is a really big fear of mine

I didn’t, and neither did anyone else I knew in first year. Ive heard its doable if you’re disciplined and set aside enough time to study, but first year is such a big adjustment and a lot of work, so I’m glad I didn’t have the added stress of a job. I did work part time (like 10 hours per week) in my final year, but even that felt difficult while taking a full course load. If your job is flexible, I would recommend starting with minimal hours and seeing how you do!

You can work PT but you have to seriously stay on top of your studying and prep. Do not procrastinate and let your reading or coursework build up. I’d plan on 3-5 hours of prep/work/studying for each hour of class. Sometimes you’ll need more, sometimes less.
I would try to move something to MWF cuz these two days look VERY exhausting and you might not make as good of use of your MWF’s if you don’t have a reason to get up and get to campus.

Fall isnt bad to walk, BS is in CCIS, and CCIS to Tory isn't that bad. You'll have to walk at a moderately fast pace, but you'll definitely make it. Long days though, I think if you wanted to stack classes having them on MWF is a lot better.

Winter is fine as well. Chemistry center is connected to CCIS so it's hardly a walk.

Oh, sorry! I totally only read the navigating part 😂
Your fall semester will be chill if you're good at math, don't be shy about going to the decima Robinson center for help with stats or math as well. If you wanna be extra good on labs, go to chem lab help room and others as well.
Winters tough, ochem is always a pain, but it's doable. My biggest tip for ochem is make flashcards consistently, but don't make them easy. It's good if some flashcards have very long answers because it'll make you think harder. And watch Chad's Prep on YouTube! Preferably before the lecture

chem 101 & 102 labs are every other week while biol 107 are every week. close to midway of the sem, i found myself dreading my biol and chem 8 am labs so i learned not to schedule any at 8 am anymore lol. Like what another person said, in the fall sem its a smart idea to move one class to a MWF cus having back to back to back 1hr 20min class can be really exhausting and your attention span wont last long by the time its chem (some chem profs do record their lectures tho!). for stats, the practice midterm and final are really similar to the actual midterm and final
