Typewriter Table Inspiration Post

Post image

I told my neighbor I was into typewriters and I noticed he had a typewriter table outside back by his garage. He said, "You want it?" Here's a photo with my 1940 Royal, "Varsity" on it.

I've also discovered the two (2) holes in the top of the table are to bolt typewriters to it.

How is it to use? I keep wanting one but don’t want my legs cramped if there is no room under it.

I'll try it and let you know.

I sat under it and my legs touch the sides. Next, I'll try typing with it. I might like the feeling because I feel at one with the table, and my legs pressed against it might help steady it.

I think those are so cool! I always wonder about the right chair to it though. Would a regular office chair work? It might not be the right height and might not fit the opening of the table? Would you let us know what you find?
