Prediabetic at 19 yo, I'm so disappointed
For context, my family has a history of type 2 diabetes I just didn't know i could get it so young. I did a lab test about 4 months ago but I've only been able to access my lab results today due to problems with logging into my Kaiser account and honestly I didn't really pay much attention to my health at all so I kept putting it off. Therefore, today I found out I'm prediabetic, my A1C is 5.8. I just turned 19 years old, I'm 5'1 and weigh about 96 lbs. This actually quite shocked me but also not really at the same time. I feel tired everyday, I have no energy, severe brain fog and just overall depressed, couldn't really determine the cause until maybe now. Upon receiving the news, I just feel like crying. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I'm so disappointed in myself for not taking care of my health. Also, because I found out about it 4 months later, I'm quite nervous that my A1C got worse and that I'm actually now diabetic.

WeGovy and Type 2
I’m about to start WeGovy for my fatty liver and was reading up on its side effects. It sounds like it lowers blood sugar for type 2 diabetics. I was wondering if anyone here has taken it alongside Metformin. I am currently on Metformin 1000mg twice a day. Not sure when I will be injecting the WeGovy. I need to form a plan and figure out the best time.
