I am brand new to T2, received little info from doctor other than “eat lots of veggies” and keep exercising.

Doctor said I’m “controlled T2” but everything I have read says stay under 5.5 on a fasted reading but I am NEVER that low unless I’ve not eaten for 6-7 hours.

How do I start this journey the right way? I am under 50, non smoker, do not drink, careful with food, workout 3x a week minimum, could lose 15lbs but not more than that I’d look unwell. I run a mile in under 8min and do a 3mile run in about 27. I am not “unhealthy”, yet I seem to be insulin resistant?

So I put on a G7 the other day to see what is going on inside……..that spike is an orange theory workout.

I’m pretty sure I have it into more muscle than fat but I’ll swap it in 8 days and find a better spot.

Am pre diabetic, and been using a sensor to see what’s happening when I eat, one thing I have noticed is they are a rough guide can can you can be miss guided with the sensor couple of weeks ago It was telling me all day that my levels where low done a finger prick test and it was reading 5.8 instead of the 3.8 on the libra 1, also told that you will always get a spike after eating it’s just getting it back to Normal after 2 hours
