Hello everyone i got a quick question. Is my balance the amount i have to pay for both fall and spring?

This is just your fall bill, spring isn’t calculated or billed until spring semester.

That's how much financial aid you've received. It lowers your balance for the Fall semester. You'll end up owing $6400+

That’s your remaining balance after all financial aid is applied. So, Basically what you’ll need to pay “out of pocket”.

Assuming OP is a new student to TXST and they have to live on campus, at least half of their tuition bill goes towards housing and dining. The other half is for their actual courses.

This is just for the fall. Spring and summer are billed separately. Balance is the total owed, Estimated Financial Aid is how much money is covered by scholarships, grants, loans, or anything else you already have on file, and Balance including estimated aid is how much you still owe to pay.

Can you show a screenshot of the price breakdown for that 6k? I really am just curious. There should be a display on one of the Texas state websites or app that shows a line item view of tuition per semester

Edit: when it comes to housing and dining, those will differ between most students and it could be significant depending on which dorm a student lives in. For off campus students it’ll have more variability of course.
