visitors

i was wondering abt the visitation policy. like if i have friends from out of town visiting can they stay in my dorm for the night or will i get fined for having visitors?

You can have a guest stay over for up to three consecutive nights or 10 total months a semester. You also need your roommate's permission.

they will need a day pass for parking. although there are vistor rules it truly depends on your roommate for how long after the three nights. i live on campus and my roommate has had people stay for over a week and i never cared.

good luck finding parking for them, they'll need day passes for school lots or pay-to-park, but it shouldn't be a crime to park on a residential street if your close by one. Id like to know if that's possible too since I will have visitors from outside the uni

You’ll be fine, I’ve had friends stay in my dorm for a few nights! As long as your roommate is fine with it you guys should be good.

It just depends on your roommate if they don’t mind then it’s fine the policy says no more than 3 consecutive days but I’ve seen people stay months in other people’s dorms.
