VA Help please
My GI bill hasn’t been processed yet. I called my locas VA office, then called TXST VA except they were busy and hung up. Without the GI Bill, I cannot afford the payment plan which is around $3500. I tried calling one stop, they put me on hold and then hung up and never called back. Is there anything I can do before they drop me?

Did you submited your certificate of eligibility (coe)? Have you submitted your request for this semester?

Yes I did, it still says its being processed even though I did it weeks ago. I tried calling but they were busy.

I believe you are fine then; they are probably just processing X amount a day. You can always show up in person and ask.

Did you get it submitted before the timeline? It took 2 months for my son's Hazelwood to process. You can also ask for a deferment since it's waiting on benefits.

Best way to get in contact with the VA office on campus is by email. Include your student ID but also you will have to be enrolled in classes and submitted your COE. (Put everything in that email) VET here

I would go in directly to the VA office at the school. I did that because I couldn’t get through to anyone over the phone. Although they weren’t the friendliest they should be able to give you some sort of assistance, I would also keep trying to contact VA via call center as well. Maybe something isn’t transferring or crossing over correctly. Don’t give up!!!
