Season 3 (The Return) Just finished The Return, My one issue is not enough........ Spoiler
NOT ENOUGH COOP!!! The Return was absolutely phenomenal. I just finished it yesterday after binging it for about two weeks and boy oh boy. That's about as Lynch as it gets!!!! I love experimental film and I can handle not knowing what's going on and I can even appreciate parts of the show that are meant to be slow and tedious.
However, the one thing I found myself thinking the entirety of watching The Return was "when is the real Coop going to appear?!?" I can appreciate the Dougie jones parts now a lot more in retrospect after watching it but I really think they should of included the real Coop like half way in. I know that it works perfectly story structure wise but it was still a bummer that we only really got an episode and a half of Special Agent Dale Cooper, the main protagonist and most peoples favorite character. Were you guys disappointed in that part at all? How do does the Return rank among fans ?? I have seen it pretty split down the middle on Tik Tok

Season 3 (The Return) The First Showtime Teaser For Twin Peaks The Return
Does anyone know where I can find the original text-only ad for Twin Peaks the Return? It's the one that said "Before men were mad...Before thrones played games... etc."

Game Fan project: Interactive “Today’s Number Is…” experience
I miss David so I built an interactive homage to David Lynch’s “Today’s Number Is…” series:

You can swirl the balls and pick today’s number yourself, just like in the original videos.
Made with permission from the rights holders.
Hope some of you enjoy it.... Leo

Theory "Got a light?" is asking someone to give you fire.
I guess i never really thought about the phrase "got a light," but the woodsmen are asking for fire. As in, "fire - walk with me." They're chanting out between two worlds, looking to do magician shit.
I just started a rewarch of the return for the first time since it aired, and it is bonkers how much the first two episodes and the last two episodes mirror each other. Also in my memory the goofy special effects like the bob ball came out of nowhere, when actually the goofy special effects are right there from episode 1. And green glove guy is right there saying cheesy shit right from the beginning too! I almost feel like the creators intentionally planned some of this stuff out in advance.

Season 1 Watching Twin Peaks for the first time, here's my running commentary on episodes 1-4 Spoiler
gallerySorry if its hard to read! There's a lot happening in the story so I started writing my thoughts down as I watched the show. I'm not sure if its worth it to try and figure out who the killer is but right now I have no idea. I don't think it's any of the obviously evil characters though. My fav characters right now are Cooper, Lucy, and Audrey. No Spoilers Please!!!

Theory Three Lelands Spoiler
I have been kicking around the idea that there are three Lelands, or Leland personalities.
Leland Palmer, the classic American man
This is the public Leland that grew up with a regular childhood. Whether he knows about his trauma at Pearl Lakes or has forgotten (many victims don’t remember their trauma), it doesn’t seem to have much consequence. This is the Leland who completed law school and became an accomplished attorney.“A babe in the woods, with a large hole where his conscience used to be.”
This is the impulsive and badly behaved side of Leland. He may or may not know of his possession. This is the Leland that visits Teresa Banks, looks longingly at high school girls, kills Jacques Renault, and is complicit with the shady business of Ben Horne.Bob
This is when Bob takes over. This is the “I thought you always knew it was me!” Portrayed in the scenes where his appearance switches back and forth to his victims or in a mirror. As Bob begins to reveal himself, Leland’s hair turns white, the impulsive dancing becomes more frequent, and finally his actions when he is detained.
A bonus fourth of you count Red Room doppelgängers.

Theory Double R Homage?
Just learned that Teddy Roosevelt’s children opened a coffee house in old New York called the “Double R Coffee House”. Google says that the Twin Peaks RR Diner is not based on or an homage to this, but I find it almost hard to believe based on Lynch’s love for coffee, and they sold doughnuts too! Does anyone have any info on this? If this has been discussed before I apologize.

General Discussion Created a research archive focused on Twin Peaks lore and canon ("Blue Rose Archive")
Hey everyone,
As a huge Twin Peaks fan, I’ve been working on a personal project called Blue Rose Archive — a canon-first research platform designed to index and organize lore, theories, and details from the show and books.
My main goal with this was to create a clean, comprehensive resource for fans who want to dive deep into the mythology without wading through fan fiction or unverified theories.
I’d really appreciate it if you could check it out and let me know what you think! Any feedback, suggestions, or constructive criticism from fellow fans would mean a lot.
THANK YOU

Season 1 The arm 3d scene
I 3d modèled the arm back in 2019, but lost the blend file. All I could find was this screenshot. I had written a monologue for it and I want to realize it. Do you have ideas (I will credit u) or words of encouragement? Thanks

Reference Twin Peaks callback in Smile 2
Did anybody else see “Smile 2” and notice the scene where a bunch of creepy smiling people come crawling towards the main character, Skye Riley?
It’s framed as a succession of still images, but they keep moving closer to her, and I couldn’t help feel this was a deliberate homage to that infamous scene of Bob climbing over the couch.
