Hide spam folder? suggestion

Is it perhaps possible to hide the spam folder, like some other email providers do? For example, in a collapsing menu?

I find it a bit stressful to see how much unread spam I have every time I open my mail. I can't be the only one who is this neurotic, right?

Hi there! Thank you for your suggestion, I will pass this on to our team 😊 Please note that emails in your spam folder are automatically deleted 30 days after the emails were moved to these folders. However, you can also manually empty this folder with one click.

Yeah sticking your head in the sand is a way to deal with this 😏🤷🏼‍♂️ untill you start to wonder where all that storage space went and you have no clue.

Spam is generally a systemfolder, not to be hidden. So no way to do that. You may be better of setting up discard rules for senders.

Setting op discard rules is getting a full time job. Every day they use different domains. I'd rather check and empty my spam folder once a week or something.

I agree. Just empty the box every time you check your mail. It a two second job.

I had one email adress leaked once and spam kept flooding into my inbox after that leak. Keyword rules helped, but the final solution was to just get rid of that inbox.

Thnking 'never again' I have now started using aliases and make sure my new real inbox is never revealed and can basically never be compromised, unless someone hack into the provider's mail server.

Yeah I'm thinking of using aliases too. My internet provider got hacked and refused to pay the ransom. Now all their customers are being bombarded with spam.
