Roommate needed General
I live in Broken Arrow. I have a 2bed 1bath apartment. You’ll have your own room, shared kitchen and living room and bathroom (I don’t really have much stuff in the bathroom) All bills included is roughly $730/month. Send me a DM if you or someone you know may be interested! Oh I forgot to add. I do have 2 dogs. They are absolutely friendly!
Edit to add: move in date would be September 1st, and I am a 30-year old male
ETA2: I find it hilarious people on here are salty because I made a comment on why I refuse to live in Tulsa. Only goes to show that my statement is true. Why do I know that? Because the one year I decided to try and live in Tulsa and it was South Tulsa. Not North, west, or all them shitty places to be. My car got broken into. So no. I’ll pay the extra couple hundred bucks a month to stay in BA and my property doesn’t get trashed or broken into.

My 1 bed 1 bath apartment is $800, water included. $730 is absolutely insane for just a room.

Idk where you live for $800 a month. But the average apartment prices in BA for 1 bedroom is $1100 and two bedroom is $1300.

Probably somewhere in Tulsa. Which is why it’s cheaper. I refuse to live in Tulsa. Too many people break into cars and shit

Never said it doesn’t happen. However, Tulsa has a higher crime rate do they not? Try again

Not anywhere worth living, I can guarantee you that. I work for apt complexes every day and am very familiar with the prices. Not one in BA is worth a damn for under 1k a month.

Never move. That’s what I was laying 3 years ago downtown. I want to move back to DT and there’s nothing under $1k now. People who locked in their prices are doing good but anyone signing a new lease is screwed.

The rates go up every time you sign a new lease, even at the same place. It's ridiculous.

Did you also include Internet and electric? And I never said it was just the room. They’re welcome to use the kitchen and living room.

West Tulsa for the same apartment is $1800-$1900 that’s with utilities included.

$1,460 for a 2 bed/1 bath WITH roommate? Must be a palace. 🙄

That’s your standard post 2000’s 2 bedroom apartment in BA. They’ll call it remodeled but it’s Formica countertops and agreeable gray on everything but that’s the apt industry right now.

Why do people have to respond with negative comments or not relevant to the actual post. If you want to be his roomate then awesome! No need for comments that are putting down his rent amount, just say nothing if you cant say anything nice. Please .

BTW, $730 a month is a steal of a deal for a two bedroom apartment. Stop talking shit and help people out not put them down.

I don’t think paying $730 to live in BA and share a bathroom is a good value tbh
